The Fire Within:
Ignite your fire and drop into a deep healing journey with Kristi & Anne
-
In the Pacific Northwest, pre-winter (Hemanta Ritu) brings a dual seasonal shift: crisp, biting air scatters our Vata energy into internal chaos, while heavy rains and gray skies threaten to smother our digestive fire (Agni) under damp, sluggish Kapha.
Set within the ancient forests and hot mineral waters of Breitenbush, this retreat is an invitation to learn the art of tending your inner hearth. Through steady movement, Ananam (facial massage and lymphatic drainage), restorative myofascial release, and simple morning and evening rituals, we soothe Vata wind, stir stagnant Kapha, and keep your internal fire burning bright. Return home with a steady, nourished baseline to keep you grounded and clear all winter long.

Yoga Practices: Flow and Yin Yoga
Yoga will be a central part of your retreat experience, blending dynamic and restorative practices to nurture the body and mind.
All Levels Flow Yoga: These active, flowing sessions are designed to energize and strengthen your body while fostering a sense of grounding and focus. You’ll move through sequences that synchronize breath and movement, promoting alignment, strength, flexibility, stability, and a clear mind. Flow yoga encourages you to embody your Self-energy and create a smoother connection between your physical and emotional self.
Yin Yoga: In contrast, Yin Yoga invites you into stillness and deep relaxation. Through longer-held, passive postures, you’ll target connective tissues, release tension, and create space for introspection.
Partner Yoga will be highly accessible! We will laugh a lot and delight in the fabulous stretches we can go deeper into with a friend.
Gorgeous Facial Yoga and Lymph Release sessions are exquisite opportunities for self massage and inner healing. We will cultivate beauty by feeling better - from the inside out.
Mindful Meditation
Meditation offers a thread of presence throughout our time together. Guided practices will invite you to rest into awareness, soften into breath, and welcome all that arises with loving attention. These moments of stillness will help anchor your journey, creating space for both insight and ease.Sacred Nourishment
